BOSTON, February 27, 2008 - Several local advertising executives were honored last night at the Ad Club’s first ever “Legends Night.” Among the honorees, Digitas’ Chairman and CEO, David Kenny, and five others were named future legends of advertising in the Greater Boston area. Kenny was recognized for leading the success of Digitas, as well as, his leadership in the industry. In addition, three local ad veterans, Ed Eskandarian, Jack Connors and Paul La Camera, were inducted into the Ad Club’s New England Advertising Hall of Fame. The event, held at the Copley Fairmont, was attended by nearly 500 area advertising and marketing executives.

Kenny, 46, joined Digitas in 1997 and was appointed to CEO shortly thereafter. He has led Digitas through a decade of evolution and growth to an industry-leading position in digital and direct marketing services and the digital cornerstone of the Publicis Groupe global offering. In addition to his role as Chairman and CEO at Digitas, Kenny is also a member of the Publicis Groupe Management Board (the Directoire), and the Publicis Groupe “P12” Board, Executive Committee, and leads the Groupe’s overall digital and interactive strategy.
