PONTIAC AND DIGITAS WIN INTERNET CATEGORY AT 2008 NSF ADCHIEVEMENT AWARDS
Pontiac Game Changing Performance Program Wins Best Internet/Best Web-Based Category

New York – For Immediate Release – 2008 NSF ADchievement Awards announced earlier this week at the 2008 National Sports Forum in Memphis, TN that Digitas won the Best Internet/Best Web-Based category for General Motors “Pontiac Game Changing Performance Program”. The NSF ADchievement Awards are voted on by the attendees of the National Sports Forum.

Pontiac built a legacy and connection with NCAA through the Pontiac Game Changing Performance program which recognizes the play - not the player - that defines the game. Activating its sponsorship through a scholarship program, Pontiac has built a web experience where fans visit www.pontiac.com/ncaa to interact with NCAA content, enter in consumer promotions and help decide which play and which school inevitably will win the Pontiac Game Changing Performance and the general scholarship from Pontiac. In the past four years, Pontiac has donated almost $1.5 million in general scholarship contributions to NCAA schools.

For the 2008 NSF ADchievement Awards, more than 500 entries from the sports industry were submitted for consideration. Submissions came from teams representing MLB, NFL, NHL, MLS, NCAA and minor leagues, as well as NASCAR, television networks, retail stores, and private corporations.

Finalists in each category were determined in preliminary judging by an independent panel of advertising experts. Winners of each category were determined by a vote of the attendees at the 2008 National Sports Forum. More than 600 senior-level executives from throughout the sports industry were in attendance.
