Junior/Social Manager


Are you a digital native? Passionate about all aspects of social from content creation to paid media and social analytics?

We are looking for a Social Media manager to join us as part of a larger regional social team.  We would look at a candidate based in Singapore, who will support APAC market business, and feed into our regional social hub in business including Coke, and Kinder etc.

Through your knowledge, understanding and passion of the social media landscape you will work with the Senior Social Director to support growth and engagement across all social channels and key verticals of beverage and FMCG.

The Social Media Manager will work within the Regional social team to support local market team’s implementation of social campaigns, including liaising with community/ media managers and clients to develop and implement Social Media strategy and creative.

You’ll be responsible for:

1/ Account Management

  • Serve as liaison between our company our clients, ensuring excellent customer service and client satisfaction at the regional level. Also responsible for managing local market team’s to ensure positive local client relationships and local market team setup/operations for success (successful development of account plans, and coordinating delivery of proposals, reports etc.)

1/ Strategy

  • Work with strategy team to develop and implement social/digital communication strategies and execution of comprehensive social media marketing plans and programs - both short and long range – regionally, for local market adaptation
  • Support on developing social campaigns of all scales, from mini on-page competitions to support of on-ground activity

2/ Content Planning, Creation and oversight

  • Client service: building and sharing regional content strategy with clients and stakeholders (regional and local market stakeholders) for feedback/approvals
  • Project management/Operations: Oversee and setup regional and local teams, including campaigns, always on, and hero creative development for market implementation.
  • Support master brand content calendar creation across all campaigns
  • Feed into content strategy:  Platform / Trend / Market research
  • Craft Creative briefs + social ideation a plus

3/ Platform Management

  • Understanding of client’s social platforms and technology to advise and support local market implementations
  • Oversee market implementation of online community strategy including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram.
  • Regularly feedback insights gained from social media monitoring to help evolve social strategy
  • Develop understanding of the implication of new social platforms such as SnapChat, Periscope, WeChat, Line, Zalo and KaKao Talk, or any other locally relevant platforms
  • Work to implement social processes and guidelines set out by clients and the internal social team
  • Ensure all tools are functional and effective in relation to the client’s social and community strategy

4/ Insights/Reporting

  • Work with regional and local analytic teams to develop competitive analysis on clients and competitor’s social activity
  • Have a broad understanding of reporting metrics to help improve and strengthen Social Media management activity and social content development
  • Regularly review client’s competitors to benchmark social activity and broaden understanding of social landscape
  • Work with regional and local analytic teams on regular reporting to deliver insights and actionable recommendations


  • Attend industry events when required
  • Take clear ownership of tasks assigned with attention to detail
  • Support local teams to implement regional campaign development and delivery
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Nice to have:

Blogger/Influencer outreach

  • Understand the principles and variety of blogger outreach/influencer programs
  • Understand how to plan, implement and report on activity
  • Build relationships with the online marketplace with bloggers, influencers and publications


You would ideally have:

  • 3 – 5 year’s experience working in a digital / social agency
  • Extensive experience on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn (any other local platforms)
  • High organisational skills
  • Account management experience
  • Excellent time management skills
  • A creative thinker with a strategic approach to content planning
  • Social media reporting understanding

It would be nice if you had:

  • Experience working on regional social business across multiple APAC markets.
  • Experience working with social listening tools like (for example) Sysomos, Digimind, Circus Social
  • Experience working with social media management tools (for example) Hootsuite, Social Bakers and Sprinklr
  • Experience with social media buying (whether implementation and or planning)
