Just in time for the new year, Publicis Media presents its latest agency brand in Germany: Digitas. Digitas is the Connected Marketing Agency, purposely built around a diverse set of capabilities—Creative, Data, Media, Strategy and Technology—all under one roof. Previously known as DigitasLBi, the brand relaunched as Digitas worldwide in 2018 to reflect its global commitment to helping brands better connect with people and delivering ambitious outcomes for brands. The agencies Newcast and akom360 will roll into Digitas Germany under the Publicis Media Solutions hub; the office will launch with 180 employees.
Digitas Germany will be led by René Menzel. As Managing Director he reports directly to Frank-Peter Lortz, CEO Publicis Media DACH. Menzel will be assisted by Managing Partners Tim Voigt and Uwe Roschmann.
"Consumer behavior shows that advertising must not be limited to paid media channels," explains René Menzel. "The relevant contact points are shifting from classic advertising media to content and social. With Digitas, we develop data-based strategies that identify the most efficient way for our customers across all paid, owned and earned channels to reach consumers with the right message at the right point of their individual consumer journey. It's not about 360-degree communication, it's about the shortest route to the point of sale."

The result is not only a unique culture, but also a service portfolio that covers the entire POE ecosystem and helps clients to transform their marketing communications."
The special culture of the young agency brand is also reflected in the way it works. Agility is the keyword on which the free choice of seats in the modern open space is based, as well as project-dependent team compositions.
Right from the start, Digitas Deutschland has been supporting clients such as AOK, BSH, CeWe, Ferrero, L'Oreal Deutschland and Stadtwerke Düsseldorf.
