Our Creatives offer inventive thinking, self-motivation, and the expertise to translate concepts into interactive marketing, web and motion-based designs.
You will work together in with a blended team of experts in creative, data, media and technology to deliver work that enriches the connections between brands and people.
This is a hybrid role, based in one of our offices in Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Sketching ideas, scamping concepts and wireframing
- Crafting digital assets for web, social, eDMs
- Working within, and help develop brand guidelines
- Helping develop slick presentations to wow our clients and give them the confidence to create connected ideas
- Translating concepts into interactive and motion-based designs
- Understanding User Experience and User Interface best practices
- Being mentored by talented UX / UI designers with the full support of producers and client services
- Collaborating with technology colleagues on design feasibility
- Partnering with clients on business goals from a visual standpoint
- Participating in team ideation and pushing the boundaries of effective design
- Maintaining high attention to detail on creative and presentation deliverables
- Participating in the broader design and creative community at Digitas and Publicis Groupe
- Staying on top of the digital industry, new technology, design, eDM and web standards
- Effectively interpreting briefs, multi-task and work efficiently under pressure within deadlines
To fulfill this role, you’ll need:
- A Digital Design qualification, preferably a degree
- A portfolio of work that showcases your creative thoughts and eye for detail in the digital landscape
- Experience working collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to improve design outcomes
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a marketing / creative agency working as a designer
- An understanding of digital production
- Speed and fluency in the latest versions of design programs: Figma, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Sketch. Google Web Designer, After Effects, and Premiere and Figma are a bonus
- Basic understanding of HTML / CSS
- Be curious, passionate, self-motivating and willing to learn new things!
