DigitasLBi has appointed Gary Lim to the role of VP, Creative Director. Gary, who was among Creativity’s Top Ten Art Directors in 2014, is now working out of DigitasLBi’s Boston office, and will report to ECD Doug Schiff.
Gary comes to DigitasLBi from BBH Asia Pacific (Singapore), and brings a breadth of experience and award-winning work with him. Notable accolades include his work with Jeep for the “Two Worlds” campaign, which was inducted into the 2014 CLIO Awards Hall of Fame. This Jeep campaign and his 2014 Guinness “Draught in a Bottle” work were both ranked No.1 most awarded campaigns globally in the Gunn Report. Gary was also instrumental in the creation and development of “World Under Water” – the 2014 FWA Web Project of the Year. During the span of his career, Gary has worked with clients such as like IKEA, Nike, Google, Tiger Beer, Guinness, Mercedes-Benz, KFC, MINI, Pepsi and the United Nations.
He joins DigitasLBi at a time of great momentum. This year the agency launched the spectacular ‘World’s Fastest Dunkin’ Run’ campaign for Dunkin’, along with winning Gold at the North American Effies, as well as the prestigious D&AD White Pencil for the Whirlpool Care Counts campaign. Gary’s responsibilities include leading creative initiatives with Boston-based clients such Dunkin’ Donuts, CVS, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and more.
