We are seeking a strategic and highly organized Associate Director, Project Management to lead the operational delivery of creative work across a complex portfolio of client engagements. This role partners closely with clients, agency teams, creatives, activation leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects move seamlessly from intake through review, compliance, quality assurance, and launch.
The ideal candidate combines operational excellence, stakeholder leadership, and process optimization expertise to drive efficiency, accountability, and high-quality delivery across multiple workstreams.
What You ll Do
Lead end-to-end management of creative projects and asset delivery across multiple clients, brands, and channels.
Oversee intake, prioritization, timelines, approvals, resource planning, and project execution.
Serve as the primary operational partner to clients, agency teams, creatives, production, and activation stakeholders.
Drive cross-functional alignment, proactively manage risks, and remove barriers to delivery.
Establish and optimize workflows, governance processes, and project management best practices.
Ensure all creative assets meet brand, technical, platform, and regulatory requirements prior to launch.
Oversee QA, compliance, and approval processes, including Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review where applicable.
Monitor project health, dependencies, and capacity to ensure successful delivery against business objectives.
Maintain oversight of asset management, documentation, version control, and delivery readiness.
Mentor junior project management talent and champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
7+ years of experience in creative project management, creative operations, digital production, marketing operations, or a related field.
Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in agency, healthcare, pharmaceutical, marketing, or digital environments.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and high-volume creative workflows.
Strong understanding of creative development, production processes, asset lifecycle management, and digital marketing execution.
Experience developing and improving operational processes, workflows, and governance models.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving capabilities with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Experience with project management and workflow platforms such as Workfront, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or Monday.com.
Preferred Qualifications
Agency, creative operations, or pharmaceutical marketing experience.
Familiarity with MLR, regulatory, and compliance-driven review processes.
Experience supporting omnichannel campaigns and large-scale asset production.
PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certifications are a plus.
Prior experience leading, mentoring, or developing project management teams.

Compensation Range: USD $97,375.00 - USD $149,296.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
