Client Need
Audi embarks on a mission for the future: zero emission enabled by fully electric cars. To unveil their vision to the world, Audi started the campaign “Road to zero”, kicked off with a TV-commercial. But Audi wanted to invite consumers to be part of its ambition, and follow them on the road to zero, building interest in its upcoming electric cars.

Our Idea
Digitas created the digital platform The platform offers an immersive experience of Audi’s Road to zero. In-depth and continuously updated content about the vision, innovative technologies like wireless charging and of course Audi’s upcoming fully electric cars. To stay true to the commitment “We will do everything to achieve nothing”, the digital platform includes a “power save” mode and is certified as a 100% carbon-neutral website.

During the first month after launch, attracted more than 35.000 unique visitors. On top of this, 15.000 “handraisers” registered to receive updates on Audi’s Road to zero and its upcoming fully electric E-tron, that’s launched end of 2018. To further increase reach and engagement, an extensive content & social strategy is rolled-out.
