Creative Strategist


Senior Analyst – Account Planning

We’re searching for a Senior Analyst of Account Planning who can support the agency’s core strategic disciplines, including account planning, primary research, media planning and analytics. You’ll rotate through disciplines, gaining exposure to the full range of tools and techniques needed to develop breakthrough insight and results-generating marketing programs. 

Tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Develop actionable insights from a wide variety of data sources: analysis of client data, primary and secondary research, media data
  • Build insights which can be applied to in-market execution, and partner with the broader team (creative, account) to develop “big ideas” for clients
  • Inform development of a cross-channel marketing campaign, partnering with a media or connections planning expert to analyze media data
  • Measure impact of an online marketing campaign; develop and manage the execution of a detailed measurement plan
  • Partner with a research expert to develop a qualitative and quantitative primary research plan
  • Develop an ethnographic research project and create a brand model
  • Analyze competitor data and develop a competitive matrix

To qualify, you’ll need:

  • Four year degree (finance, economics, account planning, or statistics preferred)
  • 2-4 years of experience with account planning, primary research, media planning, analytics or measurement
  • Creative agency experience desired
  • Experience with marketing/advertising brand strategy
  • Highly motivated with a strong record of professional and academic achievement
  • Confident determination and drive with flexibility
  • Passion for developing insights
  • Quantitative reasoning skills and comfort using numbers to generate insight
  • Knowledge of specific quantitative techniques such as statistical modeling, segmentation, research, lifetime value and ROI
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAS and other media research and planning tools
  • Candidate must be open to travel as needed
