Online Shopper in 2016: All Grown Up

To help brands understand increasingly sophisticated shopper behaviour, Digitas has launched, for the fifth consecutive year, a study of consumer behaviour in 15 countries: Australia, Belgium, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong-Kong, India, Italy, Holland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, UK and USA. 

This year the study was focused uniquely on shoppers who had declared a purchase in the last 30 days, in order to analyze in depth the context of the purchase.

Consumers worldwide are increasingly using multi-platform devices, especially mobile, to enhance their in-store shopping experience. To guide brands through the new consumer shopping journey, Digitas has conducted a first-of-its-kind, international survey of the latest trends in multi-platform shopping. The study reveals surprising new shopping habits and influences that have transformed how, where, and why we buy.
