Overview

As a Marketing Operations Vice President/Director, you’ll design, execute and manage cross-channel marketing programs within technology platforms and with vendor partners on behalf of our clients. You’ll collaborate with internal, client and vendor teams to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs, and ensure our clients get the most out of their technology investments.

 

Day-to-day, your role includes:

 

  • Leading teams working directly in Marketing Automation and Email Service Provider platforms to build dynamic, data-driven marketing campaigns
  • Developing and leading the implementation of solutions to drive highly personalized cross-channel execution
  • Identifying process improvements and creating solutions to be implemented across marketing programs
  • Exploring and identifying opportunities to use automation and AI to enable personalization and drive efficiency in our process
  • Identifying opportunities and providing recommendations for platform optimization through strong understanding of product roadmaps in correlation to client business goals
  • Assessing our client’s capabilities to execute based on project needs and make technology and operational recommendations to fill gaps
  • Identifying and exploring vendor solutions to meet client needs, including partnering with them through vendor selection processes
  • Working with cross-capability leaders to develop strategic recommendations and to bring a technical and operational perspective to consultative projects
  • Developing strong relationships with client leaders and leveraging them to uncover new workstreams to drive business growth
  • Support new business and client growth initiatives through proposal development, scoping and pitch presentations
  • Representing the Marketing Operations capability through knowledge share of implementing best practices and sharing across agency departments
  • Contributing to thought leadership / intellectual capital through creation of case studies, vendor partner experience, program optimization, etc.
  • Developing direct reports and team members through thoughtful, timely performance reviews and development plans
  • Developing the growth of alliances with technology vendor partners

We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:

  • 10+ years of experience in a direct marketing environment with data-oriented responsibility and client-leadership experience (preferably at a marketing agency)
  • Experience managing a large operations team inclusive of onshore and offshore resources. Experience with a global brand preferred
  • Deep familiarity with the digital marketing environment and marketing technology landscape
  • In-depth knowledge of the CRM and Marketing Automation technology landscape and how it fits it to the broader MarTech ecosystem
  • Experience with Adobe Campaign is strongly preferred, with Campaign v8 experience a plus
  • A demonstrated passion for the latest marketing technologies and proven success in bringing these technologies to life for clients
  • Ability to assess the capability and maturity of a marketing technology toolset and make recommendations to optimize to meet business needs
  • Demonstrated aptitude and interest in driving innovation in the direct marketing space
  • Superb communication, presentation, selling, solutions forward thinking and training skills – you’re articulate, concise, engaging and effective
  • An impressive track record of project management and performance management skills – you’re known for your ability to coach and develop talent, inspire and drive change, and bring varied groups together to collaborate
  • Willingness to travel

Compensation Range: $135,375- $216,684, annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
