Overview

We’re looking for an Account Director, Social Commerce to fully own and lead a social commerce pilot program for one of the largest beauty brands in the world with a primary focus on TikTok Shop and TikTok LIVE for well-known makeup brands. This role is accountable for end-to-end program management—creator operations, content and LIVE planning, cross-functional coordination, and performance optimization—with a clear outcome: generate at least $25K in monthly GSV through continuous test-and-learn execution and rigorous performance management. 

 

This is a highly hands-on role for a builder who thrives in fast-moving environments, can translate performance data into action, and can proactively unblock creators by securing the right experts, products, offers, and materials needed to drive conversion. Success in this pilot will help define and scale the commerce model for expansion in 2027. 

Job Responsibilities

 

Owning overall program strategy and execution for social commerce across TikTok Shop and TikTok LIVE, from planning through in-market optimization and monthly business reviews 

  • Managing two creators end-to-end, including day-to-day communications, content/LIVE calendars, briefing, coaching, quality control, and on-time delivery of pre-, during-, and post-LIVE short-form content 

  • Collaborating with our client on LIVE commerce operations, including run-of-show planning, product prioritization, offer and affiliate link readiness, moderation/run support, and post-LIVE retrospectives 

  • Driving a continuous test-and-learn roadmap (creative hooks, formats, cadence, product focus, offers, bundling, creator approaches), with clear hypotheses, measurement plans, and documented learnings 

  • Partnering with internal and client stakeholders to secure and coordinate the right inputs for success—product access/seeding, samples, key messages, brand guidelines, SMEs (e.g., makeup artists/education), and any required approvals 

  • Collaborating cross-functionally across social strategy, creator/influencer, commerce operations, paid social/media, and analytics to ensure integrated execution and strong performance 

  • Tracking performance to GSV targets and supporting metrics (traffic, CTR, CVR, AOV, retention, LIVE engagement), and translating results into weekly optimizations and monthly growth recommendations 

  • Building client-facing readouts, weekly status updates, performance dashboards/recaps, POVs, and scaling recommendations for future expansion across categories 

  • Managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations in a matrixed environment; proactively escalating issues and proposing solutions 

  • Ensuring compliance with platform policies, brand guidelines, affiliate disclosures, and content requirements, while maintaining a high bar for creator authenticity and TikTok-native execution 

  • Documenting repeatable processes (workflows, templates, best practices) so the pilot can be scaled into a broader model for 2027 

Qualifications

  • 6–10+ years of experience in social commerce, creator/influencer marketing, e-commerce, digital media, or related fields, with demonstrated ownership of performance outcomes 

  • Strong understanding of TikTok Shop and TikTok LIVE commerce mechanics (content that converts, LIVE programming, affiliate/links, product optimization, and creator enablement) 

  • Proven experience managing creators/talent and running production-style calendars (briefing, feedback cycles, quality control, and deadline management) 

  • Performance-first mindset with the ability to analyze results, diagnose issues, and implement optimizations tied to revenue goals (GSV) 

  • Excellent project management and operational rigor; comfortable running multiple workstreams with many stakeholders and moving parts 

  • Strong client management skills: clear communication, proactive problem solving, crisp storytelling in decks/readouts, and confidence leading meetings 

  • Highly collaborative and resourceful—able to secure experts, products, and materials needed to keep creators successful and content moving 

  • Experience working in an agency, holding company, platform, or similarly matrixed organization preferred 

  • Passion for social commerce, creator economy trends, and rapid iteration in fast-paced environments 

 

 

 

Additional Information

“Compensation Range: $97,375-$115,961 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
