Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Paid Social leader with 10–12 years of experience to drive strategy, innovation, and business impact for a large client. This role requires deep platform expertise, proven leadership capability, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments while delivering measurable growth.
You are equal parts strategist, operator, and thought leader - someone who can inspire teams, influence senior clients, and translate evolving platform capabilities into business-driving solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Paid Social Strategy & Excellence
- Lead the development of full-funnel paid social strategies across platforms (e.g., Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X, Reddit), grounded in data, audience insight, and business objectives.
- Oversee campaign architecture, testing frameworks, optimization roadmaps, and measurement strategies with a focus on performance, efficiency, and scalability.
- Serve as the agency’s subject matter expert in paid social, staying ahead of platform innovation, privacy regulations, and emerging trends
- Translate complex platform capabilities and data signals into clear, compelling recommendations for clients and internal teams.
Financial Services Expertise
- Lead paid social strategy for clients with a strong understanding of regulatory considerations, compliance workflows, and customer acquisition models.
- Partner closely with client legal and compliance teams to ensure best-in-class execution within industry constraints.
- Drive performance initiatives aligned to key KPIs such as account openings, funded accounts, qualified leads, and lifetime value.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate seamlessly with strategy, creative, analytics, media, and account teams to ensure integrated, insight-driven campaigns.
- Partner with analytics teams to design robust measurement frameworks, incrementality tests, and attribution solutions.
- Work closely with creative teams to develop performance-informed creative briefs and feedback loops that improve outcomes.
- Align paid social initiatives with broader channel strategies (search, programmatic, CRM, SEO, offline media) to maximize impact.
Team Leadership & Culture
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing paid social team, fostering an environment rooted in empathy, accountability, and shared ownership of results—not hierarchy.
- Manage diverse personalities, working styles, and points of view with emotional intelligence and clarity.
- Provide clear expectations, constructive feedback, and career development guidance to team members.
- Champion a culture of curiosity, inclusion, and continuous learning.
Client Leadership & Business Growth
- Act as a senior client partner, confidently presenting strategies, POVs, performance updates, and innovation roadmaps to executive stakeholders.
- Navigate complex organizational dynamics while aligning multiple stakeholders around a unified plan.
- Identify organic growth opportunities and contribute to new business pitches with compelling paid social strategies.
- Drive business results that meaningfully impact client growth and agency revenue.
Qualifications
- 10–12 years of experience in paid social media, with significant agency experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling paid social programs across major platforms.
- Strong background in financial services marketing, with experience navigating regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and developing senior-level talent.
- Experience working cross-functionally with strategy, creative, analytics, and account teams.
- Track record of writing strategic POVs and/or speaking at industry events a nice to have
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset with a deep understanding of performance metrics, attribution, and testing methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, personalities, objectives, and competing priorities while driving clarity and results.

Compensation Range: 121315 - 185920 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
