Vice President Director, Experience Design

OVERVIEW

What we're looking for:

An excellent portfolio that demonstrates both form (craft) and function (systematic thinking), and problem-solving capabilities

Proven design experience with examples of successfully launched projects that demonstrate strategic, conceptual, and creative thinking

Strong understanding of interactive experiences, digital channels, and user-centered design principles

Experience in both digital and service design, working in lean and agile environments

Drive and passion

Expert proficiency with UI tools for design, presentation, and prototyping, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, Principle, and Keynote 

10 years of experience working in a design practice/digital agency/ad agency 

Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS

As a VP/D XD, you'll be responsible for:

Supporting new business pitches and helping grow the portfolio of clients

Executing with a strong foundation in web accessibility standards and inclusive design principles/thinking

Working with account partners, strategists and/or clients to interpret or help shape briefs

Developing design concepts and solutions based on creative briefs and clients' business strategies

Leveraging existing consumer insights or requesting necessary analysis to understand the value drivers for the consumer

Defining interactive experiences that are useful to users and promote our client's businesses 

Identifying key ideas to drive projects and how to implement them across multiple channels 

Delivering these concepts in the form of information architecture, user journeys, wireframes, flows, prototypes (low and high fidelity) 

Working with visual designers to co-create design systems

Presenting various aspects of the user experience to development teams and clients 

Tracking and monitoring progress on development and quality of the experience

Committing to evolving the creative practice and bringing in outside inspiration whenever possible

Managing your time efficiently to balance simultaneous projects

This role will be more focused on a hybrid design + experiential.
