Zootopia

SUMMARY

How a movie that was written for Millenials, but animated like it was made for young kids became a blockbuster.

Zootopia was a CG animated movie that tackled themes that were relevant to Millennials who were passionate about social issues like stereotyping, prejudice and equality. But the problem was that it looked like it was made for young children.

The solution was to launch a content strategy that carefully studied what our Millennials were talking about, and to make the film more culturally relevant.

This was applied to Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore to great success that resulted in Zooptopia becoming the third highest grossing Disney animated film in South-East Asia of all time.
