Client Partner


Job Description

The Client Partner is responsible for building out Digitas accounts practices and services, working on and leading select client engagements and leading or assisting on select accounts new business pitches. As part of this, the Client Partner will help drive account acquisition, retention and growth by defining systematic and strategic approaches to pitch, win, service and grow Digitas accounts portfolio. Through this work, the Client Partner will identify and activate improvements to the way we collaborate, communicate and operate on multi market accounts combining centralized approaches and local market flexibility. The Client Partner will work with teams across the network. Key position KPIs include client satisfaction, growth, retention and wins across the network. Proven multi market account and team leadership experience and success is essential, along with experience in all forms of running own portfolios, meeting revenue and margin targets, and leading the vision of the portfolio management team.


Bachelor’s degree, concentration in business, marketing, or advertising preferred; Master’s Degree in business, advertising or marketing optimal  

Successfully worked in a VP/Director or equivalent role in the digital media space for a minimum of 2 years

10-15 years of client services experience in online advertising, direct marketing, or e-commerce; client and agency experience preferred

6-8 years of demonstrated success in managing and leading people

Proven experience in delivering clear, strategic presentations to C-level marketing executives

Experience in leading and growing multi market engagements

Client Services

Oversee and monitor client status, satisfaction and growth on the agency’s largest accounts

Develop, define and activate multi market accounts best practices in terms of strategic leadership, proactive service and collaborative practices that drive marketing performance and account growth, and excel both globally and locally against both Digitas-led and Publicis Groupe partner-led engagements

Lead and work on specific accounts where leadership and coordination is required to drive engagement growth and success

Client Leadership

Establish and manage senior level relationships with key clients and agency partners on designated global accounts; both Digitas and Publicis Groupe partner-led

Model client service practice excellence and champion these practices across all offices and teams

Develop approaches and practices that drive organic growth (cross sell existing services, sell new services, expand into new markets) and that can be leveraged globally and locally

Independently leads performance and strategy presentations

Solves client problems and uses conflict management skills within a professional environment

Practice Development

Identify and champion adoption of the practices, processes and tools that will drive accounts satisfaction, growth and retention considering planning, media, content, analytics, proprietary tools/technology and partnerships as areas for advancement

Combine centralised approaches and localised adaption/execution for maximum effectiveness

Team Leadership & Development

Embraces and encourages a culture based on team work, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity

Motivates, leads, and manages internal teams, working collaboratively to drive programs that meet clients’ business objectives

Drives adoption of client services best practices by example setting, positive reinforcement and behavioral correction

Assists in interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, developing, and evaluating team members

Conducts performance reviews and career path plans for direct reports

New Business

Lead and work on designated and priority multi market pitches, both Digitas and Publicis Groupe partner-led

Help develop and define global, multi market accounts, new business best practices against both Digitas and

Publicis Groupe partner-led opportunities
