OVERVIEW

Role context and overview

Reporting into the Group Media Director (SEO) or Head of SEO, the Media Director is responsible for leading an account or accounts. Specific responsibilities are:

  • Leading the account
  • Leading the client relationship
  • Overall accountability for delivery
  • Supporting new business opportunities
  • Must be a specialist or have overarching understanding of two or more channels

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in SEO, at least some of which should be within an agency environment
  • Highest level of SEO knowledge
  • Strong working knowledge of cross digital campaigns, in particular PPC
  • Experience working directly with clients as the lead contact on accounts
  • Experience devising and delivering SEO strategies for large brands
  • Affinity for people management; ability to manage relationships with tact and diplomacy
  • Working knowledge of analytics packages, in particular Google Analytics
  • Demonstrable experience of being able to write and communicate to a high standard
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  •    Strong Excel skills
