Vice President/Group Director, Media


Tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Assume a leadership role on a large Integrated Agency Team with direct oversight over paid social, collaborating on overarching media strategy and delivery and establishing new growth lanes
  • Actively engage with the regional and national media leadership teams to drive agency initiatives forward and contribute to new business opportunities
  • Establish long-term trust with clients
  • Oversee development of program strategies across different teams
  • Maintain senior level relationship with publishers and engage public relations within the Media field
  • Represent the agency within industry organizations
  • Support relevant training sessions
  • Develop and support growth of direct reports


To qualify, you’ll need:

  • Four year degree (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 8-12 years of Advertising and Marketing industry experience
  • 3 years of staff management and team leadership
  • Expertise in the digital world
  • Thorough knowledge and expertise in different types of Media. In particular cross-channel planning and in-depth experience in paid social
  • Proven leadership ability and previous client relationship experience that has translated into measurable growth
  • Superior interpersonal and presentation skills and ability to navigate complex organizational structures
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
  • Time management and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MRI, and CMR
  • Track record of successful problem-solving skills
  • Candidate must be open to travel as needed
