OVERVIEW

Senior Copywriter

  • Partner with Experience Design and Project Management leads to create copy for component-based website design within AA ADA compliance
  • Partner with Accessibility compliance team lead to ensure AA ADA compliance requirements are met.
  • Partner with SEO leads to ensure that proper metadata and keywords are incorporated into pages
  • Create net-new campaign copy that will live on McDonalds.com based on a campaign brief
  • Additionally, leverage campaign direction from Agency of Record and modify for appropriate use on the McDonalds.com website channel
  • Partner across CRM/email, mobile app, and website channels to ensure consistent branding messaging and voice and tone is carried across channels throughout the campaign
  • Brainstorming, collaborating to align on a response to cross-channel feedback, and cross-checking messaging other channels are using to ensure alignment throughout the creative process
  •    Create online advertising (OLA/digital banners) or Online video (OLV)
  •    in support of paid media campaigns
  • Create copy for paid social posts and paid social videos (Snapchat stories, Snap ads, Twitter sponsored posts, Facebook posts, and Instagram ads)

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements or strongly recommended:

  • Availability to work during CT hours to partner with design, copy, and PM team based in Central-time
  • Fluent in English required
  • Experience writing for websites 
  • Experience writing to AA ADA Compliance recommended
  • Strong attention to detail and organization recommended
  • Ability to work autonomously and respond to quick-turnaround requests
  • Comfortable with working within a set project process
  • Comfortable ambiguity in direction/feedback in order to propose a draft for client reaction
  • Comfortable working on multiple topics/campaigns concurrently, partnering with Project
  • Management to understand project priority, project sequence, and impact based on availability.
