Associate Director, Resource Allocation (Staffing)

 This role works across capabilities and client teams. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the correct balance of talent in order for our teams to deliver amazing work. This role requires an upbeat positive attitude and willing to problem solve in an ever-changing environment.


Tasks and responsibilities include:


  • Serve as Casting Director who understands the ins and outs of employees’ skill sets, strengths, and weaknesses to appropriately map talent to the business
  •  Ensure client teams have the right talent both onshore and offshore by partnering with leadership to understand what the work/client needs
  • Partner with Recruiting on open reqs, keeping them informed of changing talent needs
  • Assist and help influence staffing and casting strategies, including driving new business planning and strategy for your teams
  • Act as day-to-day contact for resource management cross-capability
  • Efficiently prioritize and communicate status of open needs based on revenue status, state of the business, and current staffing structure
  • Make recommendations around and follow-through on the key pillars of Casting – Open to Hire Planning, Client-to-Client rotation, Short-term loans and Long-term Transfers, Cross-office and cross-agency mobility and Freelance Management
  • Collaborate with the human resource, staffing and recruiting teams to develop and execute talent programs and processes


To qualify, you’ll need:


  • Four year degree
  • 7-9 years of professional work experience in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment
  • Previous experience in a resource management role at a creative agency strongly preferred
  • Experience managing a team of direct reports
  • Experience managing internal relationships and dealing with senior members of staff in a professional manner
  •    Solid understanding how the staffing role impacts company performance
  •   Strong analytical skills, commitment to a client, and proven ability to manage expectations
