Company Description

We are the connected marketing agency, a full-service agency with modern creative & media, data, and technology services all under one roof.

We are connected in the way we think and the way we work. At the heart of our company are great people that we call Unicorns. Our Unicorns are open, bold, and curious and love to solve complex problems for clients in unique ways.

Our AI team sits at the cutting edge of digital transformation, powering new solutions with data and technology, and our AI design team execute great work in the smartest way possible. We are passionate about transforming ideas into results as we constantly negotiate, organize, and understand the ever-changing landscape of digital marketing and technology.

Overview

Our Senior Experience Designers craft digital experiences people love to use. They are collaborators and innovators who thrive in multidisciplinary teams — comfortable starting from a blank page and not afraid to get their hands dirty making the vision a reality.

This role is centered on building, scaling, and governing a cohesive design system for our suite of AI-powered tools — used across internal platforms and packaged as client-facing products. You ll play a key role in defining and maintaining the foundations, components, guidelines, and processes that keep our tools consistent, usable, accessible, and trustworthy as they evolve. As part of a team that includes UX, visual, and content strategists and writers, you’ll help shape our approach, drive high standards, and make sure we apply systems thinking to all our work.

Job Responsibilities

Build, scale, and govern the AI design system
Define and evolve system-level patterns, components, and guidelines for AI interactions and behaviors. Establish shared rules and conventions so AI capabilities behave in predictable, understandable ways across workflows, teams, and use cases. Partner with design and product leads on governance and ongoing iteration, and drive system adoption through clear documentation and usage guidance.

Strengthen and multiply the design team
Play a central role within a multidisciplinary team spanning UX, Content and Visual design. Help set direction and shared expectations for system-led design work in a fast-changing AI landscape — maintaining high craft, cohesion, and quality across all outputs.

Design AI-enabled experiences
Develop shared interaction models for generative and assistive capabilities. Ensure AI features integrate cleanly into existing tools and workflows, with human-in-the-remove remo patterns embedded as a core system principle — not an afterthought.

Champion Responsible AI, Trust, and Accessibility
Embed responsible AI principles — ethics, transparency, and accessibility — into our systems from the ground up. Design thoughtful guardrails to reduce bias, misuse, and over-automation. Advocate for clarity, comprehension, and cognitive ease across all AI experiences.

Partner across teams
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership to align system decisions with technical constraints and business goals. Champion system consistency over one-off solutions, and advocate for the value of platform thinking across the organization.

Qualifications

Must have

  • Experience building and scaling design systems. Production experience with Figma variables, tokens, and component libraries
  • A portfolio full of beautiful, usable experiences designed across devices and contexts — with clear evidence of systems thinking at scale
  • Hybrid design chops: strong UX fundamentals paired with refined visual design craft. The ability to explore rapidly and build polished solutions, often in the same conversation.
  • Experience designing AI-powered products, with the instinct to treat AI as a platform capability rather than a one-off feature
  • Curiosity about AI tools and trends. Exploration with generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.) for ideation, research, or exploration
  • Mastery of visual design principles: color, typography, illustration, motion, and the details that make the difference between good and great
  • Serious attention to detail — we move fast, and precision matters
  • 3-5 years designing digital products, with real time spent on platform, enterprise, or systems-level work
  • A robust portfolio across devices and platforms that showcases both range and craft

Strongly preferred

  • Advanced prototyping capabilities that go well beyond the basics
  • Holistic thinking through user flows, experience models, and end-to-end journeys
  • Understanding of human-in-the-loop design principles and how to make them a core, lasting part of a system
  • Good design judgment when things are unclear, and the ability to explain your thinking to the team
  • A design sensibility that integrates ethics, accessibility, and transparency
  • Strategical thinking across full user flows, ability to see the full picture
  • Comfortable sketching and riffing ideas

Nice to have

  • Basic understanding of front-end concepts (HTML, CSS)
  • Agency, product, or platform experience — ideally a mix
  • Background in HCI, Human Factors, or interaction design
  • A formal design education and meaningful experience leading design work in the industry

Got the sparkle? Apply if you believe your unique skills are a fit.
