After the initial hype of 2022, the interest in the Metaverse has waned and now faces criticism. Campaign Magazine UK posed this question to our Chief Media Officer, Andrew Mason, and Chief Product Officer, Rafe Blandford, who provided their insights on current issues and the future of marketing within the Metaverse.

Andrew says that “it definitely isn’t dead, but it will be something different to what everyone thought.”

Rafe highlights that “rescaling and reprioritising” is key and that agencies should continue to explore new opportunities with clients at “the intersection between culture and innovation, with immersion, gaming and community all at the same time.”
