DigitasLBi expands Laurent Ezekiel's role, adding Managing Director for New York and Atlanta to remit

DigitasLBi has expanded Global Client Services Director Laurent Ezekiel’s remit to include the role of Managing Director, New York region (including Atlanta).In this newly-expanded role, Ezekiel will drive the growth and development of DigitasLBi’s New York (the agency’s largest office globally) and Atlanta regions while continuing his role as Global Client Services Director, overseeing client services globally and managing the relationships for some of the agency’s biggest worldwide clients, including GSK, Unilever and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts

Joanne Zaiac, previously President, New York and Atlanta, is being promoted to the newly-created role of Chief Operating Officer, North America.

A member of DigitasLBi’s Group Executive Board, Ezekiel is a 13-year veteran of the agency, having worked at full service digital agency Wheel, which became one of the most well-respected and largest digital agencies in the UK and was sold to DigitasLBi in 2005.

As Global Client Services Director, Ezekiel has been responsible for growth, global clients and business development and the development of a world-class client services team. He has opened DigitasLBi offices in the Middle East and Sydney and played a key role in developing and growing the agency’s Hong Kong office. He recently ran the pitch for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, which saw a DigitasLBi-led integrated Publicis Groupe agency team named as global agency of record.

Prior to joining DigitasLBi, Ezekiel held roles at Grey Interactive, Saatchi & Saatchi, UBS and Time Out.

In his newly-expanded role, Ezekiel will report in to both Tony Weisman, CEO, North America and Luke Taylor, Global CEO. He will divide his time between DigitasLBi’s New York and London offices.
