What you’ll do:
As a Social Strategist, you’ll directly embed yourself in strategic thinking to identify and shape opportunities on social across a high-profile client in the Retail space. This is a rare opportunity to grow into a T-shaped strategist—someone who combines deep expertise in social media with broad fluency in creative ideation, and client management/consultation.
Day-to-day, your role includes:
Monitoring online conversations related to the brand(s) & identifying opportunities for the brand to lead, not follow
You keep a firm pulse on pop culture, emerging platforms, and digital trends — unlocking new ideas & finding the “white space” to activate
Identifying and analyzing issues, patterns and trends in the social landscape relevant to the brand
Diving deep into social listening insights to unlock opportunity audiences and social communities for our brand
Assisting in translating social and cultural insights into compelling creative briefs and big ideas that push brands into cultural relevance
You love to learn and adapt, sharing knowledge on new social media tools, channels, formats, best practices and case studies that can inspire and enhance our work
We’re looking for impactful work experience, which typically includes:
2 to 5 years of digital and social experience —agency, brand, or publisher-side—ideally with a mix of content, creative, and influencer
Hands-on experience in the social media universe – you’re comfortable navigating platforms and formats from Instagram, to TikTok, to Pinterest
Ability to be client-facing & manage client relations
Expertise in organic social, with high familiarity and sophistication in paid amplification, including influencer strategy and measurement
Excellent research and writing skills, with a knack for storytelling
Experience with social listening and insight tools to unlock a social community (Quid/Brand Watch, platform-specific insights tools i.e. TikTok Creator Search Insights, Reddit Answers, Facebook Audience Insights, Spate, StatSocial)
Demonstrated ability to back up ideas and opinions with sound, articulate rationale
Strong presentation and public speaking skills—comfortable doing so in-person
