Overview

We’re looking for an outstanding VP/Director, Social Commerce to own the day-to-day execution and performance of social commerce programs, primarily across TikTok Shop, for key client accounts.  This role is responsible for translating strategy into action, ensuring programs run efficiently and delivering against engagement, conversion, and sales objectives.  You will partner cross-functionally across strategy, media, analytics, and creator teams to activate, optimize, and scale social commerce initiatives, driving measurable business growth.

As VP/Director of Social Commerce, you’ll help clients navigate the evolving social commerce landscape by developing scalable strategies, supporting campaign execution, identifying growth opportunities, and translating performance insights into actionable recommendations.  The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and moving parts.

Job Responsibilities

Day to day your role includes:

  • Executing and helping clients scale their social commerce strategies across platforms, driving measurable performance across content, creators, and commerce initiatives
  • Managing the day-to-day client relationship for social commerce clients
  • Overseeing cross-functional execution across internal teams (social strategy, data & analytics, paid social, etc) to ensure program delivery
  • Owning the day-to-day execution of social commerce campaigns, including coordination across content, affiliate, media, and key internal stakeholders so ensure efficient delivery and strong in-market performance
  • Identifying optimization opportunities and helping translate data into actionable recommendations for internal teams and clients
  • Building client-facing presentations, reporting recaps, strategic POV’s, case studies and social commerce growth recommendations
  • Supporting promotional planning, campaign launches, tentpole moments, and platform activations
  • Collaborating with social strategy team to translate platform trends and emerging capabilities into actionable recommendations, helping inform client strategies and identifying opportunities for growth
  • Partnering closely with external stakeholders including platform representatives, other internal agencies, and clients to support successful execution of programs
  • Building and refining scalable processes, operational workflows, and best practices across social commerce programs
  • Managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously within a fast-paced, highly collaborative agency environment
  • Partnering with store operations to successfully launch new TikTok Shops
  • Collaborating with the data & analytics team to report on key performance metrics (engagement, conversion, sales impact), optimizing programs and informing future investment decisions
  • Executing on ad hoc strategic requests, performance analysis, and innovation opportunities as the social commerce landscape evolves

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in social commerce, influence, e-commerce, digital media, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of the social commerce ecosystem, particularly TikTok Shop
  • Experience working within an agency, holding company, platform, or highly matrixed organization preferred
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
  • Comfortable navigating past-paced environments with evolving priorities and tight timelines
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and identify actionable insights
  • Proficiency in presentation development
  • Passion for social commerce, creator economy trends, and emerging platforms
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across internal teams, external partners, and clients

Compensation Range: $129,485-$207,324.This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
