Overview

Job Title: SFMC Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer, support marketing automation processes and solutions. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, campaign operations, and platform management, with the ability to assess current operations, identify resources, and implement efficient workflows. They will also drive training, documentation, and post-integration consulting to ensure seamless adoption of the SFMC platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Current-State Operations Assessment
    • Analyze and document existing processes, systems, and campaign operations.
    • Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement in marketing automation.
  2. Resource and Team Planning
    • Determine the resources and skillsets required for project success.
    • Draft role descriptions for required team members and support resource onboarding.
  3. Campaign Operations
    • Manage and optimize campaign operations, including audience segmentation, journey creation, and execution within SFMC.
    • Ensure campaigns align with business objectives and best practices for personalization and automation.
  4. Process Design and Documentation
    • Support the creation of detailed process documentation for marketing workflows.
    • Develop operational playbooks and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  5. Consultation on Platform Management and Deployment
    • Advise on Salesforce platform implementation, deployment, and integrations.
    • Provide recommendations for platform configuration to meet specific business needs.
  6. Final Training, Documentation, and Handover
    • Deliver end-user training and create comprehensive documentation for ongoing operations.
    • Ensure a smooth handover to internal teams with clear guidelines and support plans.
  7. Post-Implementation Consulting
    • Offer ongoing consulting and troubleshooting support as required post-implementation.
    • Continuously assess and suggest improvements to processes and platform usage.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4 to 7 years of experience and minimum 4 years in SFMC
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) – certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience in campaign operations, marketing automation, and Salesforce platform deployment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on expertise with SFMC tools such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Interaction Studio.
  • Knowledge of SQL, AMPscript, and scripting for SFMC.
  • Experience in multi-cloud integrations (e.g., Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
  • Familiarity with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other compliance requirements for marketing communications.
