Stay Playful At Home With Oreo
Unlocking playfulness in the time of a lockdown, to keep the playful spirit and connections alive through OreoIn March 2020, our whole world shut down. People were forced to stay at home, responsibilities increased, friends were missed, boredom struck, and everyone was on the lookout for fun ways to stay connected.
And who better than Oreo, a cookie that begs to be played with, to ease the tension! It was also an opportunity for Oreo to dial up its relevance among families.
We introduced 'At Home With Oreo', a campaign to inspire people with an assortment of ideas to keep their playful spirit alive. We kick-started this with an in-house film nudging parents and kids to make home their new playground.
Our social platforms housed creative ways of staying playful. From recipes to games, to doodles to challenges, to some trending formats, the aim and result was playful connections - albeit virtually - with friends, families, and of course, with Oreo.

These served as an inspiration for our followers, as they took to their social pages to interact, play, and share bite-sized versions of their own creations.

We kept the playful relay going and extended it across screens, encouraging more people to #MakeWayForPlay. All it took was a ‘pick, play, pass’ to connect with loved ones across the globe.
IMPACT
Till date, we've inspired 400 million+ people to stay playful at home with Oreo! Our digital challenge went on to rank #2 in the top 10 most viewed ads on YouTube in the month of June, creating 38 million+ impressions and 91% positive sentiment!
