Overview

Right now, we’re looking for a Media Associate with a keen attention to detail who’ll support the team in bringing that transformation to life. You’ll be tasked with a ton, but you’ll be challenged and rewarded as you work with and learn from the best in the business. Up for it? Read on.

Job Responsibilities

Media at Digitas always has its surprises, but here are a few things you can expect to be accountable for on a given day: 

  • Gathering information during the media strategy and planning stage (cue impeccable research & organization skills)
  • Mastering media research tools (e.g., Kantar, Pathematics) to understand competitive insights that will power winning strategies
  • Partnering with Connections Strategy to pull audience information in proprietary tools to build out the right strategies to resonate
  • Assisting in developing and executing multi-channel media plans, supporting video, programmatic, search, social, direct buys, and more.
  • Managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) with internal agency activation teams and marketplace partners; overseeing the execution of approved media buys.
  • Maintaining flowcharts to ensure accurate tracking of media plans in market and updating for clients on a regular basis
  • Inputting data into client-facing presentation formats (e.g., PowerPoint, Prezi, Keynote) for review and approval.
  • Organizing and overseeing the trafficking and implementation process of creative as well as monitoring campaign delivery and compiling reporting
  • Working closely with client and agency analytics, ad operations, and creative teams to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Owning client communication and serving as a key point of contact across planning and activation workstreams
  • Managing budgets, billing, and insertion orders (IOs) across channels to ensure accurate forecasting and reconciliation
  • Collaborating directly with channel teams to build and manage strong relationships with media vendor partners

Qualifications

  • Four years of college education and one to three years of experience in an office environment (preferably at a communications-related company)
  • Computer skills that make the old guys envious, as well as an intuitive understand of the digital tools that are reshaping the media and advertising world every day
  • Effective time-management, impeccable attention to detail and a compulsive ability to stay organized amidst many moving parts
  • Amazing communication skills – you’re straightforward, you’re candid and, above all, you’re thoughtful & kind
  • Proficiency in managing numbers – if you can whip through an Excel document, you’ve got an ace in your pocket

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $49,305 - $68,530. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
