Overview

As a Search Engine Optimization Senior Analyst, you’ll play an integral role on the brand team by providing insights that will inform our clients’ online marketing strategy. You’ll collaborate with diverse teams – including Marketing, Creative, Technology, Strategy and Insights, and Media – and you’ll gain in-depth knowledge of how these capabilities work. Additionally, you’ll help drive forward-thinking strategies in AI Optimization (AIO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and organic commerce initiatives on platforms like Amazon, Walmart, and other marketplaces to maximize our clients’ organic performance across digital channels.

Job Responsibilities

Day to day, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Consulting with internal teams and clients on search engine accessibility, AIO/GEO strategies, and organic marketplace opportunities
  • Performing keyword mining, segmentation and mapping, as well as gap analyses and competitive analyses for both traditional search and marketplace platforms
  • Providing optimization recommendations for site content, generative search experiences, and product listings on platforms such as Amazon and Walmart
  • Developing and executing link-building strategies and organic commerce growth tactics
  • Monitoring and reporting on organic performance across search engines and marketplaces, providing monthly/quarterly metrics reports to show value against all initiatives
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends in SEO, AIO, GEO, and organic commerce to proactively identify new opportunities for our clients

Qualifications

  • A four-year degree in marketing, computer science or a related field
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in search engine optimization, web development, or analytics
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills – and a knack for details
  • Strong communication and presentation skills – you’re poised, articulate and convincing
  • Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALL·E, Midjourney) is a plus, especially for tasks like ideation, research, or content generation
  • Preferred: Experience with organic commerce on platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, Instacart, etc., including optimization of product listings and organic ranking strategies
  • Preferred: Knowledge of and/or hands-on experience with AI Optimization (AIO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies and tools

Compensation Range: $59850 - $90620. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
