Overview
The Data & Analysis team uses data-driven insights to fuel strategic growth for clients. We believe that data should never exist in a vacuum; instead, it should be put to work to bring the best ideas and stories to our clients.
We are seeking an outstanding VP, Director—someone who can lead with vision and expertise to drive strategic client growth, devise innovative data-driven solutions to complex marketing challenges, and inspire internal teams to execute transformative marketing ideas. This role offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned leader to steer the data and measurement strategy for one of the largest brands worldwide, in an ever-evolving and expanding retail media market.
Job Responsibilities
As a Director, you will lead a team in steering strategic data-driven growth and maximizing operational efficiencies by leveraging data. You will be responsible for defining and executing forward-thinking strategies to exceed client objectives, utilizing insights derived from brand campaigns, acquisition efforts, site optimizations, and online testing strategies. Acting as the senior Commerce representative for the Data, Platforms, and Intelligence capability, you will articulate complex Commerce media concepts to executive and client leadership, ensuring clarity and informed decision-making across the organization. Your role will involve setting the vision for data initiatives, driving innovation, and expanding the business s analytical capabilities to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Day-to-day, your role includes:
- Serving as a data leader for a new commerce workstream within a larger account, setting the vision and direction for commerce-oriented data-driven initiatives.
- Guiding the development and execution of comprehensive data strategies that fuel client growth and operational efficiency.
- Leading high-level client interactions, providing strategic insights and consultation that address their most pressing marketing challenges.
- Overseeing and mentoring a diverse team of managers and analysts, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.
- Driving the exploration and evaluation of emerging data opportunities, technologies, and partnerships to ensure competitive advantage.
- Overseeing the development of sophisticated data frameworks and reporting tools to measure and optimize marketing performance.
- Acting as a thought leader, representing the organization in broader forums and building the team’s reputation in data and analytics.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in analytics, data strategy, or a related field within an advertising agency, management consulting firm, or ad tech company.
- Proven analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Deep knowledge of digital data technologies and platforms, including RMNs, DMPs, Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics.
- Exceptional capacity to manage complex client interactions, delivering clarity in high-stakes situations under tight deadlines.
- Extensive experience in leading and developing teams, balancing client expectations with organizational capabilities.
- Familiarity with modern statistical learning methods and the application of advanced analytics in business contexts.
- Familiarity with data operations, tagging, taxonomy to support clean capture of accurate data
- A four-year college degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree is a plus
- Strong passion for digital marketing, online advertising, and emerging trends in the digital landscape.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while directing multiple projects and priorities.

Compensation Range: $132,715 - $208,840. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
