Digitas, The Connected Marketing Agency, has announced the winner of this year’s Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP) / Digitas Multicultural Scholarship Award: Kimberly Evers. Kimberly, the seventh recipient of the annual award, will receive a $5,000 scholarship, a chance to be paired with a Digitas mentor to provide guidance through her academic and professional career, and the opportunity to interview for a position at Digitas.
Established in 2012, The MAIP / Digitas Multicultural Scholarship Award was created to assist talented diverse students with college tuition who are seeking future careers in the advertising and marketing field. This scholarship is funded by Digitas and administered by the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s) Foundation.
Each year, one $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to one MAIP participant who exhibits financial need and has successfully completed the scholarship application.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Asian-American, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American/Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander, or Multicultural
- Must be a 4A’s MAIP intern in good standing
- Must be a rising senior or graduating within 12 months of 9/1/2020
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0
- A citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.
- In financial need
