Digitas Named Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality for 7 Consecutive Years

New York, New York, United States

Agency earns 100 percent rating on Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 17th Annual Scorecard on LGBTQ Workplace Equality

Digitas, The Connected Marketing Agency, proudly announces that it received a perfect score of 100 on the 2019 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s premier benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation. Thousands were rated, but Digitas joins the ranks of only 571 major U.S. businesses that also earned top marks this year.

Recognized for the seventh consecutive year, Digitas made the list again because of perfect scoring in each evaluation category for non-discriminatory workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive healthcare benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community.

“We live by our values of being bold, curious, and open to ensure that every employee counts. Listening to our talent and never assuming we’ll make the list has pushed us forward year after year. We turn to our people to inform our practices and policies, because it’s an ongoing and ever-evolving process.” -- Erin Quill Keough, Chief Talent Officer, Digitas

Publicis Groupe agencies who join Digitas in scoring a perfect 100 for 2019 include: Leo Burnett, MSL, Publicis, Publicis Media, Re:Sources, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Publicis Sapient.

“The top-scoring companies on this year’s CEI are not only establishing policies that affirm and include employees here in the United States, they are applying these policies to their global operations and impacting millions of people beyond our shores. Time and again, leading American businesses have shown that protecting their employees and customers from discrimination isn’t just the right thing to do -- it’s also good for business.” -- HRC President Chad Griffin.
